Hello all, What a fantastic balloon competition we had! There were some stunning entries. I've put a lot of pictures in the gallery, but above is the best photo of the night so far. Congratulations to Andy Darlington on what was the only balloon to return to the club for a second flight. The competition team's balloon also did well, eventually dissappearing through the inversion and into the stratosphere, as did Nick Gaunt's. Honourable mentions to Robin Starling...

Hello everyone. Well, at briefing today the director suggested a competition for the best Monkey photo, and some of us have taken this to heart. Here is our Met man, about to explain the aerodynamics of Monkey flight. Monkey bravely took to the air... and performed with dazzling speed some low passes... ...before he came to a sad conclusion ... We're hoping to task tomorrow! :)

Well, if you\'re in the UK you\'ll probably looking out of the window at something as miserable as we are. Sutton Bank\'s microclimate has treated us to thick fog today. If you hadn\'t been looking at the charts you would think we were having schizophrenic weather! However, the fog hasn\'t dampened our spirits, and I am uploading some of Kelly\'s photos from yesterday, along with a rather nice shot of our competition mascots.

Well, we\'ve certainly got a lot of finishers but a lot of landouts too. Several people are down at Burn, including HVR and 757. CLW has landed out again, but JVA, 172, 449, DS2, and JVE amongst others have finished. Pictures to follow :)
