Day Three and Task 2. Unfortunately it was a "politician" day - it promised much, but delivered little! The weather looked quite promising with a "sea-breeze" type convergence coming from Hawke's Bay so a task was set to take advantage of that. A sniffer was sent up just before 1300 and on his (albeit limited) success a launch was commenced. It wasn't long, however, before the circuit started coming alive again with returnees; it was just too tough. No-one got around, but the good news is that everyone got back - no landouts.
The next two days are not looking too good, but we shall see. Maybe I'll be reporting on golf scores tomorrow! We have a roast dinner at the Club to look forward to, so whatever happens we'll have some fun which is after all what we're here for.
