Welcome letter
Hi everyone,
The excitement is building, and we are absolutely thrilled to welcome you all to this year’s Uppsala Masters 2026!
We are gearing up for some incredible days of soaring and great companionship. To make sure we get everyone registered and up in the air as smoothly and quickly as possible, we would love your help with a quick pre-travel checklist. Taking a few minutes to prepare now means less paperwork and more flying later!
Please double-check that you have the following ready before you head out:
- Documentation: Ensure your pilot license, sporting license (sportlicens), medical certificate, and all required glider documents (insurance, ARC, etc.) are up to date and easily accessible.
- Weigh-in reminder: A quick heads-up for the Club Class – please be prepared for the mandatory weighing of both your glider and you as a pilot so we can get all the handicaps and weights sorted correctly.'
- FLARM & Tech: Please make sure your FLARM is updated with the latest firmware and that your logger is ready to go.
- The Little Things: Don’t forget your tie-down gear, canopy covers, and—of course—your favorite sunglasses and sunscreen!
Arriving early?
- If you plan to arrive before Friday, to set up your glider trailer or park your caravan/motorhome, you are very welcome! However, before you start unpacking and positioning your gear, please contact Peter Zade +465903741to get instructions on where to park. We want to ensure everything fits perfectly and safely.
Practice flying before the competition:
- If you are planning to take to the skies for some practice before the official start, please remember to familiarize yourself with our local procedures regarding airspace, towing/towing routines, and radio frequencies. For details, contact Peter Zade +465903741.
Check-in details:
- When you arrive at the airfield, look for the signposted registration area. If you have all your paperwork sorted in advance, we promise to make the check-in process fast and painless.
Evening events:
- Friday evening (26 June), before and after the mandatory briefing, we will have “Beer & Burgers”.
- Tuesday evening (30 June), the “Mid Contest Dinner”.
Safe travels on your way to Uppsala. Clear your mind, pack your gear, and get ready for a fantastic competition.

Waypoint file renamned
WP file renamed to WP_Masters_2024_ver_A.cup. The file is identical to the first one published, only name has changed - to make it easier to identify in list of files in devices.

Airspace and waypoint files has been published, check Download section. In addition we have published files with Outlanding places in Comp Area. Number of gliders on list
Edit 2025-12-23: Naviter has fixed the problem with See You Competition. Pilot list on Soaring Spot will be updated asap.2025-12-20: At the moment we have 45 gliders on the registration list. Soaring Spot show 42, this as we are not able to access See You competition and update the list. Problem reported to Naviter. Max number of gliders is 50 on Sundbro airfield. 51 and later will be placed on a standby list and offered a place in case of cancellations.
