Carter Cup 2024

Cunderdin, Australia,   17 November 2024 – 24 November 2024

Carter Cup at Cunderdin WA

It is on 17 to 23rd Nov. You are welcome to fly 16 and 24th.

I will keep you posted here on up to date news.

We only have 1 tug but we can launch the 9 entered gliders in an hour so that is fine. If you would like a launch outside that hour you are welcome but you may be late for the start. Or fly in the area.

We will not be doing paddock retrieves but we will arrange to fetch you with your trailer. Be prepared for hot weather and staying in the paddock until late. ie have water and a space blanket in the glider.

Please enable a proper tracker in your glider. A Flarm is a great collision avoidance device but it only tracks to 10 to 30km. So you should really have a satellite tracker or a cell phone tracker enabled - we will help you get this working at the event. Make sure your phone is charged and will last until late in the night. Remember it will use extra power in poor signal.

First briefing is at 9am on Sunday 17th. There will be a briefing on 16th but if you are late find me and you can fly.
