They've all gone, the launch started at 1pm, but took a little longer than yesterday as we had a slight tailwind on 08 and the tugs were landing a bit longer. John Orton in his 55 kept us entertained on the grid as he sashshayed down the runway. Today he got off first time, it took 2 goes yesterday and was much more exciting.
The day seems to be unfolding much as forecast with pilots last seen at around 5000'.
The TV cameras were here today filming gliders on the grid and interviewing some of the pilots.
