Ore 19. Oggi le lunghe linee di convergenza hanno permesso ancora di fare voli veloci unitamente a termiche da 4 o 5 m/s. I più veloci hanno volato a velocità compese tra i 140 e 160 kmh!!

A high pressure from the Azores remains at the western limits of the Mediterranean Sea, but it has tilted its axis in the northeast direction and this will allow cooler air to enter the central Mediterranean. Northeasterly winds in Central Italy is the outcome. Sea level pressure is slightly decreasing 1 hpa (1015).
Cumulus are expected up to 2800/ 3400 meters in the best areas.
A light sea breeze from W SW will arrives on Monte Velino, Avezzano, Pescasseroli, San Biagio, and in the late afternoon in Tuscany in Val d’Orcia, Monte Amiata. (see maps of convergences on meteo- www.soaringspot.com). The best areas of today are: South Rieti , Val d'Orcia / M. Amiata, Velino, Sirente*, Pescasseroli *, Val Roveto *, Meta *, Morrone, Gran Sasso, Gorzano, East Terminillo. *= Pay attention to the layering of the cumulus (see sounding Pescasseroli and San Biagio, Terminillo, Sirente). Warning: 1) Today, high-stratified clouds can come from west ,specially north of the race area
2) Some Cumulus will have a strong vertical development
