48th Internode Australian MultiClass National Gliding Championships

Australia,   January 4, 2010 – January 15, 2010

Thursday morning

The pilots who flew the task yesterday reported a 5000’ blueday with some climbs to 7000’ on the last leg.

For those of you who saw the initial scores, the error wasdue to SeeYou treating the AAT circles as a set task, all fixed now.

Apart from the 15m class Bjorn in IZE took a launch to dealwith some instrument issues and Tobi took a launch in our LS8 to try it out.

Bruce and Cathy Tuncks flew up from ASC yesterday morning intheir Jabiru to visit and catch up with everyone.

I think as the days get hotter the briefings will have toget shorter or we will all melt. The briefing hangar is not air-conditioned andit is very hot in there already.

Temperatures are forecast to rise steadily over the next fewdays with 41 forecast for Adelaideon Friday Saturday and Sunday (I’m sure it will be hotter here).
