38th FAI World Gliding Championship

Uvalde - Garner Field, United States,   August 18, 2024 – August 31, 2024

Updated airspace and waypoint data v3 issued 19-July

v3 has been issued to correct an error found in the v1 airspace file (some airspace incorrectly shown as forbidden). There was no v2. Both airspace and waypoints are designated as v3.

The waypoint file was updated with some additional information. NO WAYPOINTS WERE ADDED OR DELETED, AND NO WAYPOINT NUMBERS WERE CHANGED.

Also note that there is intentionally no waypoint #2.

In addition to the files posted on SoaringSpot, the files have also been posted to the Worldwide Soaring Turnpoint Exchange. However, please note that only the .CUP format waypoint file and Openair (.txt) airspace file on SoaringSpot are official for scoring purposes.
