The airspace file that comes with your flight computer is not accurate enough for the WGC. You MUST use the one available on this website to accurately show and avoid forbidden (i.e. penalty) airspace. PENALTY airspace is any airspace coded as Class A, B, C, P (Prohibited), or R (Restricted). Class A airspace is everything above 18,000' MSL, there is no Class A below that. v3 has been issued to correct an error found in the v1 airspace file (some airspace incorrectly shown as forbidden). There was no v2. Both airspace and waypoints are designated as v3. The waypoint file was updated with some additional information. NO WAYPOINTS WERE ADDED OR DELETED, AND NO WAYPOINT NUMBERS WERE CHANGED. Also note that there is intentionally no waypoint #2.
