Another excellent met briefing from Nils, revealing rather unpromising weather for the day, with the approach of a warm front, low cloud and strong winds. No task set. There may be a window for a task to be set on the final day, Sunday, behind the cold front. Conditions today are not as good as earlier in the week but we have a task and are awaiting the promised 'weather window'. Alex and David in KCZ came in ahead of the field, a glider with a handicap of 85 beat all those ASW27s etc. Tim Z3 flying HC, the actual winner was Nils followed by George in 2nd place and Jim 3rd. Just shows the value of HDT tasks.

They romped round the task, and the PROVISIONAL results based on the log are.......... that a K21 won the day - KCZ flown by Alex O'Keefe and David Hamilton. The official results are eagerly awaited!

The CFI has completed the task in 1:39 after an early start. We expect the bulk to finish around 14:00.

All have started. A9, EN, JDV 316 together at 31 as the gate opened. KCZ, KV, 2 mins later then HA and J1M at 45. LC & Z3 started 20 minutes later after a late launch. It is pretty much a Grand Prix race today.
