Day 7. Nearly time for prize giving.
Still waiting for Nils' weather window to arrive. Due at 3pm.,... Rebrief in the clubhouse at 13:00. If no task we will do prize giving at 13::00 at clubhouse.
Day 8 - Briefing followed by Forum
Another excellent met briefing from Nils, revealing rather unpromising weather for the day, with the approach of a warm front, low cloud and strong winds. No task set. There may be a window for a task to be set on the final day, Sunday, behind the cold front. Day 7 - Task set
Conditions today are not as good as earlier in the week but we have a task and are awaiting the promised 'weather window'. At briefing Richard took the opportunity to thank our generous sponsors - Hayward Aviation, NavBoys and Sailplane & Gliding - who are providing day and overall prizes. Day 6. Finishers and a couple of landouts
Nils (EN) is back in 1:26 mins. He says that there are still plenty of energy lines to follow. About five more competitors due to finish in the next 10 mins. JDV DNS and RN, HA, 944 Landouts so far.

Day 6. First Launch 12:30.
Short task to the west first turn Abingdon Bridge. First launch at 12:30. FI and 161 are out testing the climbs. Now we wait to see how big this good slot is. Checkout Sat24.com to see whether the cloud thickens up!

Official results now available
Alex and David in KCZ came in ahead of the field, a glider with a handicap of 85 beat all those ASW27s etc. Tim Z3 flying HC, the actual winner was Nils followed by George in 2nd place and Jim 3rd. Just shows the value of HDT tasks.

Everyone is back!
They romped round the task, and the PROVISIONAL results based on the log are.......... that a K21 won the day - KCZ flown by Alex O'Keefe and David Hamilton. The official results are eagerly awaited!

The race is on, and they are fast
All have started. A9, EN, JDV 316 together at 31 as the gate opened. KCZ, KV, 2 mins later then HA and J1M at 45. LC & Z3 started 20 minutes later after a late launch. It is pretty much a Grand Prix race today.
